Download and read online Alkaline Herbal Medicine in PDF and EPUB Alkaline Herbal Medicine gives insight into many of the herbs used to reverse disease in Dr. Sebi's African Bio Mineral Balance. It covers scientifically supported properties, preparation, doses and dosages, and how to combine herbs. It addresses alkaline foods on the Dr. Sebi nutritional guide, and their chemical affinity with and support of the electric body. The natural order in life designed the body to be healthy and heal under the right conditions. These conditions are programmed into the DNA of Homo sapiens, whose base DNA makeup is the African genome. Diets centered on the consumption of natural alkaline plant foods and ample exposure to the sun supported the healthy expression of the African genome. The environment of Africa, and environments similar to Africa, produced life that developed with a complete and balanced electrical structure. The plant life that grew in these environments grew under optimal conditions in nutrient rich soil under year long exposure to the sun. The resulting chemical makeup of these natural alkaline plants protected them from environmental stresses. Africans originally ate diets centered on the consumption of these plants, like the great apes of Africa, and the programming of the African genome used the protective nature of these plants' nutrients to support its vibrancy. A scientific model supports the idea that Africans migrated out of Africa hundreds of thousands of years ago into the less hospitable environments of Europe and Asia. These environments didn't support the healthy expression of the African genome and resulted in the mutation of the gene and the development of the Neanderthal of Europe and Denisovan of East Asia. Science has linked diseases like lupus, Crohn's disease, and type 2 diabetes to the Neanderthal gene. The Neanderthals, who inhabited the Neandertal caves in Germany, ate a diet centered on the consumption of meat. The combination of their meat-centered diet and adverse relationship with the sun led to the development of dis-ease in the body. Now, the meat-centered diet is being globalized and is spreading disease throughout the world. An alkaline plant-centered diet and the use of alkaline herbal medicine naturally support the healthy expression of the African genome in all people, and reverses chronic disease. Pharmaceutical medicine is built on the power of medicinal herbs because around fifty percent of its drugs are derived from herbs. The issue is industry has strategically conditioned people to forget about the healing power of natural alkaline herbs. I dedicate this book in the memory of Alfredo Bowman lovingly known as Dr. Sebi. He helped us to remember that natural alkaline herbs and plant foods support the healthy expression of the African genome that is in all people. He did this by sharing his African Bio Mineral Balance methodology. Categories: herbal remedies, naturopathy, healing, herbs, herbal medicine

Download and read online Alkaline Foods Cookbook in PDF and EPUB I was like most people when finding out about alkalinity, I want to know, what can I eat and how do I prepare and cook it? Being a Chef and herbalist for over 25 years, made it a lot easier for me than most to prepare, alter and come up with new cooking ideas. Some are under the impression that once you cook something that's alkaline you can destroy its alkalinity. This is further than the truth. For an example, tomatoes contain lycopene, a form of antioxidant. Raw tomatoes have a total antioxidant potential of about 80, but if you cook the tomatoes the antioxidant potential goes up to about six-fold. This is because the raw tomato has been transformed to trans-lycopene in the cooked version do to the heat infusion, and trans-lycopene is much more readily absorbed by the body. This is the same with most foods. Finally a book that gives you the alkaline food list and how to prepare and cook them, so you can remain healthy, energized, and vitalized.

Download and read online Handbook of African Medicinal Plants Second Edition in PDF and EPUB With over 50,000 distinct species in sub-Saharan Africa alone, the African continent is endowed with an enormous wealth of plant resources. While more than 25 percent of known species have been used for several centuries in traditional African medicine for the prevention and treatment of diseases, Africa remains a minor player in the global natural products market largely due to lack of practical information. This updated and expanded second edition of the Handbook of African Medicinal Plants provides a comprehensive review of more than 2,000 species of plants employed in indigenous African medicine, with full-color photographs and references from over 1,100 publications. The first part of the book contains a catalog of the plants used as ingredients for the preparation of traditional remedies, including their medicinal uses and the parts of the plant used. This is followed by a pharmacognostical profile of 170 of the major herbs, with a brief description of the diagnostic features of the leaves, flowers, and fruits and monographs with botanical names, common names, synonyms, African names, habitat and distribution, ethnomedicinal uses, chemical constituents, and reported pharmacological activity. The second part of the book provides an introduction to African traditional medicine, outlining African cosmology and beliefs as they relate to healing and the use of herbs, health foods, and medicinal plants. This book presents scientific documentation of the correlation between the observed folk use and demonstrable biological activity, as well as the characterized constituents of the plants.

The Detox Miracle Sourcebook

Download and read online The Detox Miracle Sourcebook in PDF and EPUB "You don't have to accept the 'death sentence' offered by other medical systems," Dr. Morse has told thousands of patients over the years. Since 1972, he has directed a health clinic in Florida, successfully helping people cure themselves of cancer, diabetes, M.S., Crohn's disease, along with both brain and nerve damage. His "miracle" approach is fully detailed in this comprehensive book. The cause of illness is poison (acidosis), i.e., toxins from our food, water and air. No genuine healing can proceed in such a toxified environment. Morse's system is to treat the cause of illness, not the symptoms! The Detox Miracle Sourcebook shows you how to use raw foods and herbs as of the primary means of detoxification, healing, and ultimate regeneration of weak or diseased cells. This book is called a "sourcebook" because of the vast reference material it contains. The author presents a complete overview of every bodily system and every organ. He details the causes of "breakdown" in each system and recommends natural means - raw foods and herbs -- for cleansing, and then strengthening of each part. Comprehensive charts and tables specify the sources for and uses of vitamins, major minerals, trace minerals, cell salts, herbs, fruits and vegetables, essential oils, phytochemicals. His chapters on what to expect as you detoxify are especially valuable. Morse describes the natural "side effects" (from the mild to the extreme) of releasing toxins from the body. He explains in commonsense terms how to encourage this "healing crisis" while at the same time maintaining overall balance in the body. He also offers dramatic accounts of how his own patients have healed themselves of chronic and acute conditions by using these methods. Two detox "miracle" diets are offered as the core of his natural cleansing system. He offers suggestions for the use of fresh juices, recipes for raw foods and a selection of cooked dishes that will gently ease even the timid into the process. Other outstanding features include: lists of the toxic chemicals commonly found in foods, air, water; a massive glossary of medical and nutritional terms; a Resource Guide for where and how to acquire healthy foods, oils, bodycare products, educational materials, etc.; an extensive Bibliography.
